Aus gegebenem Anlass, findet Ihr hier eine Beschreibung für die EInrichtug der iPhone Voicebox! Ein Kollege fragte eben wie er Voicemail auch bei alternativen Providern (NICHT D1) nutzen könne. (Das Visual Voicemail Feature kann in alternativen Netzten (außer D1), mit denen Apple nicht kooperiert, nicht aktiviert werden.)

Das Icon für Voicemail war nach dem Wechsel der SIM (Vodafone SIM) nicht mehr aktiv. Auch das längere Drücken der Taste “1″ auf den Zifferntasten ergab keine Verbindung zur Mailbox.

Mit dem neuen OS 3.0 gibt es viele Neuerungen, die erst auf den zweiten oder auch dritten Blick auffallen. Hier habe ich einige Tastaturneuigkeiten für euch:

Die “normalen Buchstaben” hatten bereis in der Vergangenheit Sonderfunktionen.

Nun gibt es die verschiedensten “Gänsefüßchen”:

Per Druck auf “.” gibt es nun auch die Möglichkeit “…” zu schreiben:

… und noch eine kleine Info am Rande – wurde in der Vergangeneheit “lol” immer automatisch zu “LOL” umgewandelt – bleibt dieses in der gewünschten Schreibweise bestehen wenn man “lol” haben möchte.

Gestern habe ich die bisher TEUERSTE APP (in den letzten 12 Wochen) im App-Store gefunden: Navigon präsentiert: “MobileNavigator Europe” frür schlappe 74,99€ EINFÜHRUNGSPREIS!!! –> Es wird also noch teuerer.

Sicherlich kann diese APP auch einiges leisten, die Featurelist sieht ganz nett aus. Allerdings fehlt mir in der ganzen Beschreibung der Hinweis darauf, das sich der Bildschirm des iPhone nicht automatisch abdunkelt bzw. ausschaltet. Das sollte bei einem NAVI ja Vorraussetzung sein – ein entsprechender Hinweis würde jedoch die Bedenken bei dem einen oder anderen potentiellen Käufer ausräumen.
Bei dem Preis überlegt man sich schließlich zehnmal ob es sich wirklich lohnt. (Zumal heute sowieso in jedem Auto ein Navi integriert ist.)
Je nachdem wie hoch der Endpreis ausfällt, könnte diese APP tatsächlich eine Alternative zum klassischen Navi der Konkurenz TomTom, Garmin, etc. darstellen.
